    Web Hosting (also known as Web site hosting or Web hosting) is the business of housing, serving, and maintaining files for one or more Web sites. In a sense, you rent space on a computer to hold your Web site. Your host, the computer where your Web site files are stored, assigns an address (IP) for your files to your domain name so that anyone can find your Web site on the Internet by typing in your domain name.

    You may move your website to another web hosting service at any time. Once your website design has been completed, we send you a copy of the website on cd. This copy of your website is for your retention.

     

    Depending upon the amount of information you wish to be displayed on your website, you may need a database. It may be a better option to have a database incorporated into your website design if you have many products/services. If a database is advised we will discuss this in detail with you and explain exactly how this will work. Your website design can be adjusted to suit your specific requirements.

    In order to choose the right hosting plan, you need to consider a few factors:

    Design
    How was your Web site designed? For example, if you designed an ASP or ASP.NET Web site, you need a Windows hosting plan. If you have a Web site that uses CGI or PHP, you need a Linux hosting plan. If you are unsure of what type of hosting plan that you will need, you may ask us here.
    Traffic
    The main question that needs answer here is how much traffic or number of visitors do you expect monthly? When you expect to have more visitors or traffic on your site, you need the higher the bandwidth.
    Size
    How large is your site? If your plan is to have a large site with more videos and image content, you probably need additional bandwidth and disk space.
    Database
    If you plan to use a SQL Server (MS SQL) Database or an MS Access database, you must have a Windows hosting account. If you plan to have a My SQL database, you can use either a Windows hosting account or a Linux hosting account.
